Doings As Of Late

We've had a busy summer so far, here are some pictures of what we've been up to.

Chase has his 23rd birthday! He's now as old as me :). We had a fun day of golfing and spending time with family.

My little bro Bennett graduated from Mountain View. He's a big boy now! Love you Benny boy!

The Warnick's went down to St. George and the girls got to see The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn. It was pretty good! It was a quick trip, drove down there, went to the show, and came home the next day but it was a good time.

I also had quite the experience at my 28 week appointment last week, but everything seems to be working out so far. I passed my glucose test (yay!) but found out I am Rh-negative, which means I got a lovely shot last week and will get another one after I deliver. It's no big deal, just a little overwhelming with having to drink that awful glucose drink twice, finding out the hospital doesn't accept my insurance, being sent to another hospital and having to get a shot. Fun 3 days for sure. Good thing my hubby came and sat with me at the hospital twice, he seriously is the best ever. The good news is only 10 1/2 weeks until our baby is due! I can't wait.

Hot Air Balloon Mobile

The mobile that I started making forever ago is finally up! I got the idea from this blog, but made a couple of twists on it. It was a little time consuming but fun and easy! I just drew a hot air balloon shape, cut it out, and used it as a template. I had 6 different colors of cardstock, and cut out 12 balloons out of each color. That's a whole bunch of little hot air balloons! I traced and cut while watching General Conference and my keeping my hands busy it helped me concentrate better :). I'm a multitasker for sure. I also added 3 big clouds for my balloons to hang from. I glued them all together, added string, and hung them up! It was quite the task to get them to hang straight, I know it wouldn't seem like it would be, but I had to try lots of different ways before something finally worked!

 

I'm excited to see the room finally coming together, after all my little projects! It still has a long ways to go, but it will get there.
